I am looking to integrate the ADV7441A into our evaluation platform for our
current SOC. I need to be able to convert HDMI input, and analog sources such
as composite, component and s-video type inputs into either YCbCr 4:2:2, RGB
565, or RGB 888 for our internal 8 bit pixel input bus. I had a couple
questions about how fast one can output on the 8-bit bus. What are the speed
and resolution limitations for each type of input? What are the pixel clock
rates supported? Can the part be used for downscaling or not? For instance a
1080p input downscaled to 720p output.
The goal would be 720p output on the 8 bit pixel bus, but we may be able to
work with less.
