I already have an JLINK emulator from Segger and would like to evaluate the ADuCRF101. do i need to purchase USB-SWD/UART-CONVZ, or can i use my current JLINK emulator?
USB-SWD/UART-CONVZ includes an interface board and a JLINK lite emulator.
You might be able to use your own JLINK emulator or mIDAS link emulator, but you first need to check its version:
The ADuCRF101 supports the Serial Wire interface and does not include the JTAG interface. Serial Wire support was added to the mIDASLink/JLINK from Version 6 onwards.
The interface board provides power to the miniboard, and a 20pin JTAG connector to plug the JLINK lite.
You will need to build your own adpator to use your JLINK. Connections required are:
- power via J1.3 and J1.4
- debug access:
Attached is the schematic of the interface board.
Note that the internal pull ups on SWDIO and SWCLK are sufficient and no external resistors are required.
Do you have also layout files ?
here is a pdf of the layout.
Thank you AudeR.
But this is a PDF file ! We can't reuse footprints or any other things...
here are the files used with PADS
Thank you very much AudeR.
where can I find the BOM of the USB-SWD/UART ?
