we are using ad620 as an preamp in eeg processsing but we are getting 50hz noise at output. How do we remove it ?
For EEG, the most typical of way of removing the 50/60 Hz noise interference is to use a driven lead (similar to right leg drive in ECG). This circuit helps canceling the common mode signals by inverting the common-mode signal from the Rg pins of the in amp and drives it back to the body. You can use this link as a reference on how to implement this circuit.
On the other hand, you can also check other instrumentation amplifiers like AD8422 and AD8421. Both parts have good ac cmrr performance when operating at higher gains.
