Q1) For the HMC624, how poor does the 0.1dB compression input power get as the frequency decreases to 10kHz?
Q2) Does the power handling also suffer at the low frequencies?
We have not evaluated the power handling performances of the HMC624ALP4E below 50 MHz. As seen in the datasheet plots, the power handling performances of the HMC624ALP4E roll off at <200MHz, of which is a normal behavior of the GaAs FETs based digital attenuators. Basing on our experience for other products of the same process and power handling capability, I can say that the HMC624ALP4E’s P0.1dB at 10kHz may not be more than 10 dB.
