AD5422 EVAL How to use the VIN0 input ?

I am a new user of the AD5422 evaluation bord and I want to know if it is possible to use the VIN0 signal in order to measure an external signal ?

I see on the doc (page 4/16) that :


This link connects the VOUT output of the AD5422 to the VIN0 input of the on-board ADC (AD7321).

When this link is inserted, the voltage at the VOUT pin can be read back to the PC.

When this link is removed, the voltage at the VOUT pin is disconnected from the on-board ADC input."


Can I use the VIN0 input of the on board ADC for an external signal ?

Can I use this measure with the demo software ?


In my application I have to amplify a voltage of 0-10V (for an RF attenuator which control an Acousto-Optic Modulator).

I need first a manual control (potentiometer, isolation amplifier + amplifier (X1.7)).

Then, I will be happy to convert this signal in the VIN0 of the eval board, then, use it manually in the demo software to control the output voltage when I go back to the USB control of my voltage through the eval board.
