ADV601 Question

I have some old video data I need to extract and look through.

It is packaged as MPEG2-TS 188-byte packets wrapped around variable length PES packets.

I am able to extract the ADV601 video frames and save them to a  file in the *.601 format.

What I need to do now is convert the *.601 files to .BMP files for display.

I found and downloaded everything here:

I don't see a program that can just take a *.601 file (or a raw ADV601 frame) and convert it directly to a bitmap or some other format that I can easily view on Windows 7.

There is a icmapp.exe, but it just loads bitmaps and manipulates them not allowing saving to *.601.  It doesn't allow going the other direction either.

Does anyone have knowledge of the ADV601 that can point me in the write direction here?

Thank you.
