Is the direction of the input current and output current the same in this IC? if it is the same is there anyway to reverse the direction of the input current when we're outputting it?
Current flows out of both the input pin and the output pin. Just imagine there is a pnp/pmos sourcing current at each pin. There is no way to change the polarity on either pins.
I see. So what happens if the input current going into the pin? Is the output current going into the pin as well or it wont produce any value? Do you have any IC that the mirror input and output have the same direction?
You may damage the part if you force current into the input pin. The output will not pull current into the output in this situation.
We only have the ADL5315 and ADL5317. Neither of which function as you describe.
