Does the ADV7619 perform any filtering on the data?
My source is full range RGB and the pixel output is configured to be also full range RGB.
OP_FORMAT = 0x54 (2x24 SDR 4:4:4 interleaved mode 0).
What type of filtering are you looking to do?
Actually, I am not looking to do any filtering.
I actually want no filtering to be done.
We want to use HDMI has a "transport" stream, basically send some data in the first several pixels of the first active line.
I am testing it now by sending RGB value of 0x0C0C0C for the first 10 pixels, then 0x808080 for the next 20 pixels.
However, I don't see it jump from 0x0C0C0C to 0x808080, but a two pixel transition so it looks like filter is being performed.
I am trying to confirm is this from the ADV7619 or from my source (PC graphics card)
If you are receiving as RGB444 and outputting as RGB444, I wouldn't think it would lose any data.
Are you monitoring the ADV7619 output on a logic analyzer?
Were you able to purchase one of our ADV7619 evaluation boards yet?
I am using Xilinx's ILA to capture the data, basically a logic analyzer inside the FPGA.
I am capturing the pixel port output (along with vs, hs, de) and using the llc to to clock the capture logic.
No, I haven't purchased an eval board yet.
So, just to confirm, are there any controls that enable filtering of the data?
From the docs, it doesn't look like there is.
On EngineerZone, we can only support standard applications. For ADV7619, that would be receiving data that is compliant with the DVI or HDMI (1.4) standard.
