I'm doing a TDD application and I have come across a transmit artifact that is about 18us long that shows up at the beginning of each transmit cycle. If I put the AD9361 in permanent transmit mode (ENSM set to always transmit, instead of controlled by TXNRX signal), the artifact does not show up.
After reading TDD Mode Switching Time I suspect this artifact to be the "Tx DAC power up" mentioned in the article.
Has anyone come up with solutions for preventing the Tx DAC power up artifact from appearing on their Tx output?
If I were to wait 18 us after switching to Tx state before setting TX_FRAME high, would this prevent the artifact from showing up?
