I have fmcomms2 and kc705.
I connect board via iioscope. But i don't see any meaningful data on plotted scope. How can i start with scope app?
For example; i want to TX a known frequency wave and see same wave on scope and get spectrum.
voltage0 and voltage1 are the components of RX1 signal; voltage2 and voltage3 are the components of RX2 signal. RX1 and RX2 are both IQ signals. On the wiki you can find some information regarding the FMCOMMS Math - FMComms Math [Analog Devices Wiki].

I know, I'm reading this Guide. My problem is;
I can run Linux on my fpga and i can connect the devices.
Altough i couldn't see any right data. Maybe There is one missing thing?My steps:
1) I run .tcl
2) I connect the board with ioscope
3) Link led 100Mbps light on kc705
4) Global settings: fdd
5) TX Chain: 18M BW, Fs 30M, Port A, 10dB att.
6) DDS Mode : One CW Tone, 10MHz freq
What should i see at this condition? I want to send a known wave and see same wave RX channel.
i didn't connect any external clock to fmcomms2.
Most probably, your TX LO frequency and RX LO frequency are not set to same value, so the behavior is expected. On the wiki you can also find a description of the IIO Oscilloscope FMCOMMS2 plugin.
Yes you are right. I set both LO freq to 2450MHz now. But there is nothing changed.
Can you confirm me,on below states, How should i see on scope time and f domains? I expect on time domain a periodic wave with 9,27MHz!!! Is it correct?
Note : I connect TX1A and RX2A to each other with a cable.
From the Advanced plugin I guess that you have chosen the TDD ENSM mode. The current state in your setup is rx, so you are not transmitting anything. Choose FDD instead of TDD.
- I set both LO freq to 2450 MHz
- State : FDD
Now i can get some results at least. But still i have some questions if not too much..
1) I expect a peak at at 9,27MHz, scope show at 2450 MHz, Why??
2) The board have 2TX and 2RX ch. In plot window there are 4 voltage option. What are these? In time domain all of them give same signal?
3) X axis of freq domain doesn't show real values? Why?
I suppose that ; 4 channel comes from DAC ch's...
I suppose also that Carrier freq 2450Mhz, data 9,2 MHz.
