What's the input and output impedance of ADL5315 for the range of current between 1nA-1uA?
The impedance looking into the IOUT pin (pin 8), i.e. the output impedance of the ADL5315 is 300 MOhms at a current of 3uA. Does that tell you what you need to know?
Exact numbers weren't necessarily measured. Input is low impedance and output is high impedance.
Input Z is better at the lower input currents; you can see this on Figure 7. For a 20 dB change in input current you get a few mV change in input voltage, for most of the range up to 1mA.
The only parameter we have for output impedance is the Iout*Rout product which is 900V at 3uA, or about 300 MOhms. I'm pretty sure the output Z remains large inside of the range you are inquiring about.
So I think it's safe to say the output impedance is above 300Mohms because in my application I need a high input impedance in range of couple of GOhms or maybe above 300 MOhms that satisfy my input requirement for the circuit I designed. Is that the case?
Yes, assuming it stays relatively constant or higher for current below that value.
