I am looking for a description of the Panic Flag Register (ADAU1452).
Best regards Mathias
When the DSP encounters an error, then provided it is not masked (using the panic mask registers) it gets flagged, which means specifically:
The error can be cleared by a rising edge of the panic clear register (0xF421), and no further errors can be flagged until you do so. The DSP will (try to) continue operating regardless.
The panic flag can also be output on one of the MP pins of the DSP, for example to automatically mute audio or send an interrupt to a host microcontroller.
