Constant Rx flow

Is there a way (easy way preferably ) to learn the status of the reading/writing buffers for the AD9361?  I know there are 4 buffers, but, for example,  I don't know if I am reading fast enough to not loose samples between two iio_buffer_refill. From the experiments I am doing I am guessing loosing samples, but I am not 100% sure. I guess it is because I am probably not refilling the buffer fast enough.

Anyone knows if at a sampling rate of 2MHz, the network back-end is able to provide an interrupter flow of samples, i.e. if I store the answers, I can go from one buffer to the other as if the samples were in sequence. I guess in the local back-end it would not be a problem, but I feel more comfortable for debugging using the network one.

I am using an FMCOMMS4 over a Zedboard.
