The recently added “ADS-B Airplane Tracking Example” to the Analog Wiki :
lists a number of Mathworks dependencies in order to get the example to work. The Simulink version of the ADS-B example in particular does not work, however, due to its dependence on the Mathworks Simulink ‘SimEvents” library which does not come standard with Simulink. This dependency is not stipulated in the example’s documentation. Please see the two attached screen captures that highlight the issue.
It is the “Discrete Event Signal to Workspace” Simulink block within the ADS-B Simulink example that causes this dependence issue.
The MATLAB only version of the “ADS-B Airplane Tracking Example” naturally does not have this dependence and works just fine.
Is it possible for the example’s author to modify it in such a way that the dependence on ‘simeventslib’ is avoided altogether ? This would benefit end users who only have the 'standard' version of Simulink.
