Can you give me an advice how to connect the ADV7619 with the ADV8005 via 48 bit pixel port bus in a 4k mode. Which pins can be used at the ADV8005? Is this application supported?
for ADV8005, please refer to sections 220.127.116.11 and 18.104.22.168 from ADV8005 hardware reference manual available on ADV8005 product page ( http://www.analog.com/en/products/audio-video/analoghdmidvi-interfaces/analog-hdmidvi-display-interfaces/adv8005.html#pr…) for connecting the 48 pins pixel bus from ADV7619.
one question in Addition:
Which function of the VSP block could be used in the ADV8005, if I use the TTL Input in 48bit mode (4k video mode)? Not sure about it when I look at the block diagram in the manual. Especially I’m interested in the scaler function. Thanks a lot for your help.
There is no problem for ADV7619 and ADV8005 to support 4K mode, input and output via TTL bus. Please refer to the schematic of our EVAL board on TTL interface.
When you are talking about the scaling one 4K timing to another 4K timing, you need HPS, SVSP and PVSP. Please fine the reference code in our release package.
