Low average power modulated spectrum from tx of ad9364

Hello,

 

I am using AD9364 evaluation board wih KC705 FPGA platform. I have ref. design for Vivado2013.4.

I have integrated OFDM modulator and demodulator 10MHz bandwith, DQPSK modulation, 256 sub-carriers.

Actually, with the default SDK main.c parameters settings, when I send sinewave at 5.5 GHz the TXA outputs 6.5dBm as per the page 4 of data sheet  of AD9364 provided these settings in dac_core.c for sine wave tone1 and tone2. tx1_attenuation is set to 0 mdb.

But, when I inject my modulated output to tx with 5.5GHz carrier and measure the channel bandwith it is quite low (-12 dB) however, the tx_fir are disabled.

Could you please tell me for a standrad OFDM 256 subcarrier similar modulation what should be the average power we should expact out of the transmitter with the default settings.  And what should be the difference between shoulder and main lobe.
