Trying to figure out how to correlate the recommended 0.5Vpk max ADC level to the RF input level in dBm. Can I assume that the ADC max 0.5Vpk = +4dBm and then use the Rx gain setting to back out to the RF input connector?
My estimate is about -65dBm assuming 70dB of gain, 1Vpp ADC input and 50ohm input system impedance.
It will vary with frequency and the gain/loss of any structures preceding the part.
The easiest way would be to sweep the input signal power and to monitor the signal level in the output FFT or output codes in the time domain. This approach would take into account all gain/loss before the part.
