Enhanced Parallel Peripheral Interface (EPPI) module is a half-duplex, bidirectional port with dedicated clock pin, three frame sync pins and 24-data pins. It is mainly used to interface with video devices, like TFT LCD panel, camera sensors, video decoders, video encoders etc. It supports ITU-656, SMPTE-274M and SMPTE-296M high definition video formats.

It can be also used to interface with parallel ADC/DAC interfaces and for general communication purpose.

I am attaching couple of simple register based EPPI codes to understand how EPPI can be configured. If you need more details about it, do let me know.

Thanks,

Prashant
