When the input is used by a pseudo-differential motion.
What processing is necessary for ADAU1361 unused output pins(LOUTN, ROUTN, LHP, RHP and MONOOUT)?
Is it good as open?
In SigmaStudio, set up each output pin for Line Output. The negative output pins LOUTN and ROUTN may be left open. For more information on these outputs, see page 37 of the ADAU1361 data sheet. When looking for details that can get buried in an 80-page data sheet, using Control-F to search can help. I remember (and sometimes long for) the days when analog was -- well, analog -- and data sheets rarely went over ten pages. A microcontroller data sheet makes me cringe.
If you're not using the headphone pins LHP, RHP, and MONOOUT, you can also leave these open. We can see this from the evaluation board's schematic -- when no headphones are plugged in, these pins are effectively unconnected,
How you handle these output pins is independent from the inputs, which have their own configuration page in SigmaStudio.
