Hi everyone!

I want to measure impedance a sensor at frequencies lower than 80Hz i.e. >20Hz. Can I generate 20Hz sinusoidal excitation signal by any means?

For example: Either by lowering the clock frequencies? Or by using DAC codes to generate a low frequency sinusoid?

My apologies, the information that I have offered regarding the generation of sinewaves <80Hz is incorrect. The limitation on frequency is only a digital limit, limited by the number of bits representing the Frequency Control Word (FCW) for the sinusoid generator. The output frequency, f(out) is calculated as follows:

f(out) = f(ACLK) * (FCW / 2^26)

Therefore the minimum f(out) value, with a FCW of 1, is 238.42mHz.
