I would like to know if there is an IBIS model available for the ADUC7061. Our layout department needs it to simulate crosstalk, over- and undershoots, etc. and I could not find it on the analog website.
Best regards and thanks in advance!
Sorry, for the ADuC-products we do not offer IBIS-models.
Oh, that's a pity.
May I ask why Analog does not offer these models? And, are there models available from other devices that are similar to the ADuC's?
So far for this products it has not been requested - we may take under consideration for new products.
Some models are available for ADSPs - but not sure how good this matches the ADuC I/Os.
Well, ok, then it is requested now. When will it be ready?
More seriously, though, todays FPGAs (one being the counterpart for the ADUC on our board) are getting more and more picky about the incoming I/O voltage signal level, both with the general voltage tolerance as well as with over- and undershoots. We would like to simulate the driver and receiver behaviour between the two to be on the safe side. And I don't think that we are the only ones who do that, honestly.
So, from our point of view it is a really good idea to take under consideration.
Anyway, I really appreciate your quick support, MMA.
