'No gain' setting in MGC

Hi,

We are using Manual Gain control with AD9364 to verify different gain settings vs power output.

The observation is that if the gain is set to 0, the output power from ADI is more by about 2dB than the input power. But this is only for higher input power. For low input powers, the output power is same as input power (when gain is 0 itself).

Do you have any pointers to identify the reason for this additional gain?

Does Rx Gain 0 ensures 'no additional gain' from ADI? Or should it be set to any other value like -3 or -4?

Also, we are using FIR filter from reference design. In rx_fir_config, the default rx_gain is set to 0dB. Do we need to set it to -6 to make it actual no-gain scenario?

Please suggest the required setting to have actual 0dB gain from ADI.

Thanks

~Jinoj
