Attached is the sample code for configuring Timer in PWM mode and Width capture mode for ADSP-SC58x processors.
I have a question. Is it possible to stop timer during debugging.? I mean if I am stepping through the code, i do not want timer to increment the count register associated with it.
There is an option in timer configuration register to stop timer during emulation(EMURUN bit 0: Stop Timer During Emulation, 1: Run timer during emulation). If it is the same thing it does not work as expected, and count register keep incrementing.
can you help in this regard.
EMURUN bit is functional, but it needs additional registers to be configured in debug control registers to Halt the timer on emulation event. Currently, support for this feature is not implemented in CCES emulator libraries. As a result of this, timer increments even if EMURUN bit is set.
Thanks Sachin for the information.
