I have been looking at Table 23-15 in the 214xx HRM (0.3). This table makes sense from a 21469 perspective but does not address the D15-D8 portion of the 21489.

The 2136x HRM has a very useful MODE 010 that creates an 8 bit data bus and assigns the remaining data lines as FLAGS, etc

My question is what happens to D15-D8 when EPDATA is not 000?

Is there a clever way to assign FLAGS to D15-D8 and keep the address bus and D7-D0 as a data bus? Maybe one of the "Reserved" settings?
