BF706 power supply and consumption

According to the datasheet, BF706 is supposed to be powered from an adjustable regulator generates 0.95 to 1.25V. However, the datasheet also stats the absolute max voltage is 1.2V. So they contradict. Can I power the chip with 1.2V +-2%? If so, I can share my FPGA power with it.

Also, what is the power consumption of the 3.3V part of the chip? Generally, if I use the chip with ADC and USB low speed device mode, what will the 3.3V total current be?
