What are the general considerations for designing the ADC input interface?
The following considerations should be take into account while designing the ADC input interface:
Further note that the modern trend towards lower voltage, lower power, single-supply ICs which reduce signal swings proportionally and smaller signal swings make these converters more sensitive to noise (Device, Power Supply, Logic, etc.), grounding, and decoupling. Device noise increases at low currents and many ADCs are now designed with differential inputs to reduce sensitivity to noise and also to get more signal swing for a given supply voltage.
