I realized that the AD8009 has an latch-up effect (for gain=2, 100 Ohm load at more than 7.2 Vpp with +/-5V supplies). Only removing the input signal, switching power supply off, switching power supply on, applying a smaller input signal seems to help. Is there any way to prevent this (I use this amp also with gain=10) ? I cannot guarantee that there is no short transient in the input signal which might drive the amp into latch-up.
From a search it seems this is AD's fastest current feedback amplifier. Is there any other chip which might replace the AD8009 without the latch-up?
