We're seeing some noise/interference on the full-screen displayed image from a component, 1080i input. The noise appears as dancing lines on a fixed blue screen with a light-to-dark vertical gradient The noise is worse when we are also recording, but always exists to some extent. By accident, we found that setting a reserved bit in the ADV7441A cleans up the noise. Register 0x06 sets the video standard. With a 1080i component input this register is normally set to 0x0c (HD 1125 1X1 (1920x1080)). If we change this register to 0x1c (Reserved) the noise/dancing lines are stabilized.
