1) Is there any rumors about new update and its content?
2) What about updating LWIP port for Blackfin in upcoming update patch?
I still have KEEP_ALIVE Tcp option not working and UDP broadcasting problems.
Thanks in advance, Paul Gaganoff
Yes, we will be releasing Update 9 in February. This is a sizeable update with further compiler optimizations, new standard compliance, etc. Stay tuned for more details.
To your specific question, LwIP has been upgraded to v1.3.2. I'm not sure if this will fix your specific problem or not. I don't see any recent open issues in our bug database for KEEP_ALIVE. Please refer any issues to our support team: firstname.lastname@example.org. They can create trackable issues for you as well as assist with any problems you are experiencing.

Thanks for reply.
I found a source of my problems in LWIP options, increased some values in lwipopts.h, rebuilt LWIP and it worked.
Actually I think everyone will welcome more featured TCP/IP configuration plugin.
Some values are vital for many applications but unavaillable in plugin.
TCP number of retransmits
TCP period of retransmits
I needed my BF537 application to faster detect disconnection or power down of TCP connected client, but spend a lot of nerves before I got it.
Another problem is I cant set different retransmit options for different sockets in application.
For example, I need faster disconnect detection for data TCP/IP streams, but at the same time I need regular or less sensitive TCP retransmit options for control terminal TCP connection. I know its a kind of restriction of LWIP, but I feel I need to tell about such problem.
