Question on 21469 TalkThru examples

Trying the 21469 Talkthru examples in VDSP5.8

I got the Block Based one going easily enough by following audio cable set-up instructions

In on left set of input RCA connectors channels

Out on second row of output RCA connectors

In on right set of input RCA connectors channels

Out on third row of output RCA connectors

But could not get the point talkthru going -- which by Murphy's Law is the one I needed for a class

Spend some time checking the switches

QUESTION 1 -- The 8 pin switches have clearly marked on and off settings

For future reference, is there a mark on the 2 pin switches showing which is ON and OFF setting?

QUESTION 2

Finally got the point talkthru going, by changing the RCA connector positions

meaning

In on left set of input RCA connectors channels

Out on THIRD row of output RCA connectors

In on right set of input RCA connectors channels

Out on SECOND row of output RCA connectors

This switch of positions is actually mentioned in the readme.txts

These txt files read a little confusing as the point readme.txt seems to have a reference to the block code example

which led me to intially to believe the audio cable settings would be the same.

Is there a logical reason for this switch of output positions, meaning a third demo where both point DMA and block DMA are going at the same time?

I could use that working example as a class demo if there was.

Thanks
