Rotate a Blackfin 561 framebuffer before mpeg encoding?

Wondering if its possible.  (Surprised if it isn't)

I see there is a pvc (vidcodec_t *) structure that has access to the framebuffer right before the encoder is called.

pvc->ptr_refframe

So I was thinking a rotate of the frame buffer could be done right before this call:

      pf[i] = (ifrm_t*)h264_encode(pvc, pf[i], ppstream[i], &pn[i+buf_index*MAX_CHANNELS]);

The idea is to rotate the frame buffer 90deg left before encoding.

Any comments or suggestions from others who have tried this would be greatly appreciated !!!

Thanks

Dan.
