I want to know whether such an operation is possible?.
ADF4159 is set parabolic ramp mode.
But I want to step timing control use TxDATA.
And If possible, I will ask about register setting.
Yes, set R5 DB29 = R5 DB28 = 1 to enable TXdata CLK and parabolic ramp respectively.
To generate your register settings, use the ADF4159 evaluation board control software: https://ez.analog.com/message/55190
Thank you for your reply.
But I don't have the Eva-board.
In addition, I received an email of specification changes from customers this morning.
It was that want to make the sawtooth Burst addition to TxDATA control
and parabolic sweep as the accompanying drawings.
would be possible in the setting of the following registers?
DB29 = 1 to enable parabolic ramp respectively
DB28 = 1 to enable TXdata CLK
DB10,11 =00 CONTINUOUS SAWTOOTH mode
You don't need an eval board to use the software. You can still use it to generate the register settings.
You cannot easily achieve the shape in the image above. You would need to re-program the registers to stop and restart the parabolic ramp after f5.
It may be worthwhile posting the image above in the DDS Community and asking if they have a part that can do that. I think they might.
