Issues with gnuradio on the new SD card distribution

Hi there,

I am currently using the FMCOMMS2 board with the Zedboard.

I got really excited, when I saw the new SD card distribution coming with gnuradio.

So I ran the FM radio example and had some initial success: I saw the little window with the frequency setting popping up when I executed my flow graph 'top_block.py'.

However, I had no audio, and followed the procedure outlined in ZEDboard SD Card image Audio not working

In the meantime, I used the 'ADI Update Boot' and 'ADI Update Tools' functions to get my SW to the newest level.

Now, the python script is not running anymore, and instead I receive the following error messages:

Fontconfig warning: ignoring C.UTF-8: not a valid language tag

ERROR: Unable to create temp file: 22

Error: failed to enable realtime scheduling.

Using Volk machine: neon_hardfp

Traceback (most recent call last):

  File "top_block.py", line 132, in <module>

    tb = top_block(hostname=options.hostname, decimation=options.decimation, audiodevice=options.audiodevice)

    self.iio_fmcomms2_source_0 = iio.fmcomms2_source(hostname, fm_station, 1536000, decimation - 1, 20000000, True, True, False, False, 0x20000, True, True, True, "slow_attack", 64.0, "slow_attack", 64.0, "A_BALANCED")

    return _iio_swig.fmcomms2_source_make(*args, **kwargs)

Any idea what went wrong here?

Regards,

Arne
