I am experimenting with a UB-287 Eval Board with a ADIS16384 6DoF Inertial Sensor...the UB-287 connects to the PC via an USB cable.
Does anyone know if its possible to have a wireless connection between the PC and the UB-287 Eval Board?
Our software engineers are telling me that they are not aware of any deviations in our software, with respect to standard USB practices, so there is some optimism that this might work with the wireless USB devices that are available on the market today. We have not tried this before but will try to schedule some time to do this in the future. Unfortunately, we are pretty booked so there is a chance that this will take us much longer than you probably have to wait. So, if you wanted to try this, we will be glad to support your questions and do our best to help in the short term. If you see any errors from the IMU Evaluation Software package, feel free to post the process you used and a screen shot of the response and we will do our best to help figure out what is going on. If it does work, we hope that you can share that as well. We will continue to work on this, but we have already made many commitments so this will be something that we will have to pursue when we have unexpected gaps between current projects.
Help me out. Are you actually referring to the EVAL-ADIS, which is covered by User Guide UG-287? I am not familiar with the UB-287 board so if my guess is not correct, I might need a bit more help.
