I almost don't want to ask, but for use with very low clock frequencies, must the AD9106 exposed pad be connected to DGND -- as the datasheet states?
I'm about to prototype a circuit with a 0.167 MHz clock input to the AD9106 (from a 100 ohm LVDS line driver), but I don't think the prototyping board has a centre pad connection, and even if it did, it would be difficult to hand solder!). I think I will attempt to pre-connect a wire, to drop through a hole drilled in the centre of the board before soldering the IC pins to the board anyway, but it would be good to know whether 'must' really is the case at low clock rates?
p.s. Why not provide an Errata for the datasheet - a small document that can be updated easily and as often as required until the datasheet itself is up-issued?
