I have a question about ADCMP580/1/2.

When I see the absolute maximum ratings, Input voltage should be between -3V to 4V.

I believe this means ADCMP58x aren't broken when users use within the ratings.

My question is that the AMR of input voltage range is not related to supply voltage range.

I look like even if VCC = 3V, VEE = -3V and Input voltage = 3.9V, ADCMP58x work very well (and it will not be caused from the failure).

Is my understanding correct? or User have to set input voltage within power supply?
