Well, it's hideous. It looks like it's for stockholders, not engineers.
I use to check the "new products" thing regularly, but I can't find it now.
What's this "points" thing? ADI must think that we're children.
EngineerZone does not have a community for discussing the analog.com website. When you're on the analog.com home page, there is a Feedback link in the bottom-right corner of the page. I suggest you submit your comments there so they get to the right people.
Looks like they signed up some Social Networking outfit to Facebook their web site. That's fine if they want a bunch of amateurs racking up points, but real engineers want facts and, frankly, aren't very social.
I showed the new site to one of my young engineers, and he wondered if ADI was selling cars now.
And I did submit "feedback", with no response.
Oh well, I'm off to the TI and LTC web sites, to check out their "new parts this month" things. Both have sensible engineer-friendly web sites.
I have followed up with the web group about your "New Products" section comment. I am told they are working on adding the New Products functionality back in, so look for that feature to be available again soon. In the mean-time, I personally find that this is a good resource:
New Product Briefs: Analog Dialogue: Analog Devices
I hope this helps.
