I could not find any recommendation of pullups for the SPI chips select pins ?
Is there a pullup requested for SPIx_SELx pins ????
If any SPI chip-select outputs from the Blackfin processor are connected to slave devices, you should use pull-ups to ensure that the slave is properly deselected during system start-up. The Blackfin processor GPIO pins are by default configured as inputs, so the output drivers are disabled. As such, the pins are floating until the processor has configured them to be outputs and the SPI port itself is enabled. Therefore, the floating nature of the output pins may result in an unwanted chip-select edge detected by your powered slave device prior to the processor completing its initialization process, which may cause unwanted behavior.
In our ADSP-BF609 EZ-Board reference kit we use 0402 5% 10k ohm resistors for our SPI pullups and pull downs connected to the W25Q32 flash memory chip. There is a full schematic of the EZ-Board located in the ADSP-BF609 EZ-Kit Lite Evaluation System Manual.
Thanks for response-I know the schematic of the EVALBoard, so we connected the QSPI Flash in the same manner.
But in general I couldn't find out if I need Pull Ups on other SPIx_SELx pins to connect SPI devices????
I need this for our own BF537-based board. But I can't find this in any BF60x description.
