Our customer brought the following question about AD8330 Gain adjustment.
When Vmag is open, Vout show the following formlra.
V OUT = 2 × G IN × V IN × V MAG
Vmag=open means Vmag=0.5V default setting, I see.
But when we adjust the CNTR-pin, then Vout can adjust from the following explanation on your datasheet page-19.
~~~ However, some circumstances require a small change in this voltage, and a resistor from CNTR to ground can lower this voltage, whereas a resistor to the supply raises it.
On the other hand, this pin can be driven by an external voltage source to set the common-mode level to satisfy, for example, the needs of a following ADC.
Any value from 0.5 V above ground to 0.5 V below the supply is permissible. ~~~
So does this(adjust the CNTR-pin) mean that GIN is adjusted by CNTR-pin voltage, correct?
