I have an application where I need to switch the output of an AD5791 20-bit DAC (64 of these DACs actually).
Ultra long term stability and ultra low noise are critical.
The signals are +/-5V, and <<10mA.
I had been planning on using reed relays for the signal switching, but with the large number of relays and channels, power dissipation will likely become an issue in certain switch configurations. I may end-up using a mixture of switches and relays.
I have attached a schematic showing the required routing.
I would greatly appreciate input on the best devices to consider for extremely low noise and long term stability.
