I want to connect ADV7619 to my encoder chip. The input port of the encoder chip is 16bit, 74.25MHZ, BT.1120 . Does ADV7619 support BT.1120 output ?
I would use 0x80. I don't see the Mode 4 pinout defined anywhere though it's probably the same thing but with a different pinout.
It supports some formats of BT.1120-- and 16-bit YCbCr 4:2:2 at 74.25Mhz is one of them. You are doing 720p/1080i?

I am doing with 2 resolutions: 1920x1080p 30fps and WUXGA (1920x1200p 30fps).
Are both resolution supported with BT.1120 ?
What color space? What pixel clocks?
It is 16-bit YCbCr 4:2:2, the pixel clock could be set to either 74.25MHZ or 148.5MHZ.
As long as the components are separate at 1x the clock rate-- then sure-- you'll be able to do embedded syncs with those formats. You couldn't do 8-bit wide interleaved YCbCr 4:2:2 for those formats though.
Note that we don't actually call it BT.1120, but I can't see any difference.

Further to this, I read the ug-237.pdf to learn how to set the pixel output mode. In page 26, how should I set the the OP_FORMAT_SEL register to output my expected 16bit YCbCr 4:2:2 1X clock output. Should I use 0x80 or 0x90 ?
