AD9959 Evaluation Board Driver Issue on Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I have been trying to install SW drivers for the AD9959 evaluation board, so my laptop running on Windows 8.1 (64-bit) can communicate with the evaluation board.

I have read through some of the existing threads regarding the driver issues with Windows 7 & 64-bit OS, and found some useful soures:

Can't install driver of AD9913 eval board on Win7 64-bit

So I downloaded the attachments (AD9959USBFW.zip & ezssp.sys.zip) and re-installed the evaluation SW provided by the AD, to see if it works. But, it didn't.

My computer still does not recognize the device and the USB STATUS LED labelled as CR2 is still in red.

What is the solution to this problem, other than installing a virtual OS SW and running 32-bit Windows XP?
