We only had a demo board which include ADV7625+21489+BF524 show as the picture,we want to test the audio signal ,but how to connect the interface ?Thank you!
I will forward this over to another forum where they may be able to give you more details. This board is designed to show how you can take in and process multiple HDMI signals so it is designed to use the audio that is on the HDMI connectors.
The board also has provisions for bringing in audio using the expansion connector, J10, to bring the audio directly into the SHARC processor. See page 15 of the schematics. You will have to write software for handling the audio from the SHARC and transferring it over to the ADV7625. Since it is up to you to program the interface then the audio format is your choice. You can do multiple streams of I2S or one or more TDM data streams. If you need to get the audio into digital form then you can use one of our CODEC evaluation boards to do that. I assume you are referring to the EVAL-ADV7625-SMZ. We have used that PCB (in combination with the SHARC Audio EZ-Xtender) in the past to do some audio decode demos but it required us to replace the ADSP-21489 with ADSP-21487 and do some rework on the SHARC Audio EZ-Xtender board.
Since that time we developed a new PCB for audio decode demos which is called "Melody AVR 5" which has BF524, ADV7625, two ADSP-21489 devices, as well as two AD1939 devices. It is much better platform for audio decode evaluation.

mattp, is it possible to purchase the EVAL-MELODY-5 with the ADSP-21489 replaced by ADSP-21487s or do we need to do this ourselves?
The EVAL-MELODY-5 ships with U35=ADSP-21489KSWZ-4B and U56=ADSP-21489KSWZ-4B.
If a customer wants U35 to be ADSP-21487KSWZ-4BB instead, we think they can swap out the devices fairly easily since it is 176-pin QFP package.
