ADUM5422 Footroom voltage at unipolar supply

Hello Forum,


I’am planning to use AD5422 as DAC for an industrial control loop which can be operated at 0-10V or 0-20mA output on a single terminal. When I use voltage type output, you have described a “Footroom“ of about 20mV when the digital value “0x0000” is output. I’ve planned as supply a unipolar 0/24V rail. Is it a good choice to provide a -5/24 power rail to the AD5422 to provide zero voltage output when the digital value “0x0000” is written and what is a typcial current flow for the supply rails?
