help choosing and configuring clock source for AD9102

Hi everyone,


I'm choosing and configuring the external clock source for an AD9102, and I'm having some trouble interpreting the datasheet. I have two questions:


1. How should CLDO and CLKVDD be wired for the two different cases where a) the internal regulator is used, and b) the internal regulator is not used. On that note, I don't think I understand how the internal regulator works. Could you please explain? Why I would want to use the internal regulator vs. using some other supply? What external power requirements are there for the two cases?


2. The recommended clock drivers all seem more complicated than what is necessary. Could you recommend a simpler clock source and driver that can provide a ~180 MHz (close to max frequency, but doesn't have to be exact) clock output to the AD9102? Specifically, the clock source and driver will only be driving the AD9102, so we only need one differential output pair. We also do not require an adjustable frequency.
