AD8368 Dangerous Startup Transient

I have implemented multiple AD8368's into my design as a VGA output that then goes and drives other devices we use.

I noticed in analyzing the datasheet initially in Figure 27 that it exhibits quit awful startup transient characteristics. The datasheet shows that obviously there is a time delay between Enable and RF_Output, but that the RF_Output will jump to full scale for some short period of time. I assumed I could get around it by playing with the VGA.... but no luck.

Now that I have tested in the design, I have characterized it and it is definitely a problem. I am curious as to what the Applications experts recommend to handle this transient? Only solution I see is to add an RF switch... This also seems like an overall dangerous characteristic and not sure why it wasn't resolved at the IC level.
