ADF5355 on fmcomms5

Hi,

Now that the ADF5355 is out, I just wanted to check in and get some advice on the easiest way to evaluate it in conjunction with the fmcomms5 board. According to the wiki, the chip can be placed directly onto an already purchased board: http://wiki.analog.com/resources/eval/user-guides/ad-fmcomms5-ebz/hardware/configuration_options

Are there plans to provide software/firmware support through iio-oscilloscope or other means in the near future to control the ADF5355 if populated, or would the best approach to an evaluation in the next 1-2 months be to purchase the stand alone ADF5355 evaluation board and connect it to the fmcomms5 through the currently supported EXTLO sma connector?

Thanks,

Adam
