I have downloaded vivado 2014.2 and build all the libraries and then project for ZED board and zc706 board.
Now my query is how to proceed to add a custom design into my project.
Any flow is there?
You can find similar (how to drive a led or read a push button state) projects here. Check it out those first, after that you should be able to do that modification.
We do not have any 'flow', for how to add a custom hdl design/core, simply because it's not a generic process. It depends what do you want to add, and where do you want to add it. If you fully understand all the functionality of the reference design, and you are familiar with the design tools, you should be able to modify it without any issue.
And if you get stuck, you can always ask for help.
I am new to vivado embedded system design. So far I have understood the the basics of reference design and its working using SDK C- program. Now I want to add a simple verilog program of glowing led by push button into this reference design. How should I proceed ?
I have read UG994: Designing IP Subsystems Using IP Integrator, which can be found in attachment below.
