Hi,is it possible to run the AD5252 with an asymmetrical supply, e.g. +3.3V and -1.5V?Best regards,Carsten Wille
We've specified the AD5252 to operate with dual supplies specified between +/-2.25V to +/-2.75V as highlighted in the datasheet. If your supplies are within those bands, there's no issue with asymmetrical supplies.
The AD5252 should be functional with +3.3V and -1.5V but since the voltages are outside the datasheet limits we cannot guarantee the part will maintain the specifications in the datasheet.
Also the supplies dictate the maximum and minimum signal amplitudes that can be fed into the A, B & W terminals, so in your example you cannot have signals that are less than -1.5V.
can you recommend any other ADI digital poti with 1k ohms resistance and I²C interface that I could use instead?
Unfortunately we don't have a digiPOT that guarantees specifications with the requirement of +3.3V and -1.5V.
Is there other key specs that you require?
Our digiPOT brochure shows the entire portfolio with the key specifications.
Please let me know if you have further questions.
