Porting Video Capture BF525 Design from uClinux

I have custom platform designed for my customer which has the BF525 with the 7183 NTSC Encoder. It is a basic video recorder application which encodes the NTSC video into MP4 QVGA files which are saved to a NAND flash filesystem. Once the recording is stopped, the user can plug the device into a PC via USB. It appears as a USB MSD device to the PC so that the user can copy the MP4 files.

We currently have the platform running using uClinux. However, I can't afford to download the latest daily build whenever I have a problem.

I'm a total noob to Visual DSP so I'm just looking for a little guidance as to the feasibility of porting my application to a more stable software platform.

Are the following drivers supported and readily available for evaluation?

>>MP4 encoder

>>USB MSD

>>7183 NTSC encoder

Is there anything else that I need besides Visual DSP, BF527 reference kit, and the 7183 eval card to get started?
